On Wednesday, February 4th, Mohegan Elementary will participate in the Global School Day of Play, an event that promotes social-emotional learning and play-based skills. Each classroom will take part in at least one hour of unstructured play, with no screens. The real challenge is going to be a full day of play! How amazing would that be? Participation is flexible, and classrooms may approach the day in whatever way works best for them. With all the snow we’ve had, this could be a great opportunity for students to enjoy some outdoor play as well.
