Mohegan Elementary School Home

School will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. This day recognizes and celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous peoples. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing autumn day with family and friends. 🍂🍁

Students are invited to show off their wildest, wackiest, and most creative hairstyles as we celebrate Spirit Day. Whether it's colorful, curly, spiky, or silly, we can't wait to see everyone's fun creations!

We encourage students to bring a $1 donation to support the Mohegan School PTO. Donations may also be made through Venmo: @Moheganschoolmontvillect-PTO.

Let's fill the halls with school spirit and crazy hair while supporting our PTO. We can't wait to see your amazing hairstyles!

There will be no school for students on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, as teachers participate in a Professional Development (PD) Day. This dedicated training time allows staff to strengthen instructional practices, collaborate with colleagues, and continue learning to better support student success. Classes will resume on the next scheduled school day. 🍎📚✨

There will be no school on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in observance of Veterans Day. This special day is dedicated to recognizing and honoring the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. We thank all veterans for their service, sacrifice, and commitment to our country. We wish all of our Mohegan Elementary families a meaningful Veterans Day as we join together in honoring all who served. 🇺🇸⭐
